Privacy policy.

The short version: we only collect what we need to reply to you and do your project, we don't sell it, and you can ask us what we hold or have it deleted at any time.
Who we are
LJ Pixel & Co. ("we", "us") is a web design, development and digital marketing studio in Singapore, run by its two founders, Lucas and Joel. For anything about your personal data, contact our Data Protection Officer (one of the two founders) at hello@ljpixel.com.
What we collect
- When you use the contact form: your name, email address, what you're interested in, and anything you write in your message.
- When you WhatsApp, call or email us: your phone number or email address and the contents of our conversation.
- When you become a client: billing details, and the business information we need to build and run your website, such as domain, hosting and analytics access, logos, copy and photos.
- When you visit this website: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) for security and performance. This site does not use analytics or advertising cookies, and its fonts are served from our own server, so your visit is not reported to third parties.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
- To design, build, launch and support your project.
- To invoice you and keep the accounting records the law requires.
- To keep this website secure and working well.
- To send you news or offers, only if you have agreed to receive them. Every such email includes an unsubscribe link.
By sending us the form or messaging us, you consent to us collecting and using your personal data for these purposes under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting our DPO; we'll explain what that means for any work in progress.
Who we share it with
We don't sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who handle it on our behalf and only as much as they need: our form delivery service Web3Forms, our email provider, our web host Cloudflare, WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) when you message us there, and our accounting and payment tools. These providers may not use your data for their own purposes. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
Transfers outside Singapore
Some of those providers store data on servers outside Singapore. Where that happens we take reasonable steps, such as choosing reputable providers and relying on their contractual commitments, to make sure your data gets protection comparable to the PDPA.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't become projects: deleted within 12 months of our last contact.
- Client and billing records: kept for at least 5 years after a project ends, as Singapore tax and accounting rules require, then deleted.
- Server logs: kept by our host for a short period, typically 30 days.
How we protect it
This site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiries and client files is limited to the two founders, protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication, and stored with reputable providers. No system is perfectly secure; if a data breach is likely to cause you significant harm, we'll notify you and the Personal Data Protection Commission as the PDPA requires.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you and how we've used it, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent. Email our DPO and we'll respond within 30 days. For access requests we may charge a reasonable fee, which we'll tell you about first. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right; you can also contact the Personal Data Protection Commission.
Other things to know
- This website isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
- Links to client websites in our portfolio take you to sites with their own privacy policies.
- If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new date.
